The 2nd Festival of Wreaths
Las Vegas Eagle is proud to announce The 2nd Festival of Wreaths to benefit the Saint Therese Center.
Festival of Wreaths Overview
Individuals and businesses will be encouraged to demonstrate their personal creativity by decorating and donating a holiday wreath to Las Vegas Eagle for The 2nd Festival of Wreaths. When a wreath is donated, it will be showcased at our establishment along with an identification card with the title or theme of the wreath until the day of the event when there will be a silent auction for the purchase of the wreaths. While displayed, all wreaths will have bid sheets attached to them for those who are unable to attend the gala and wish to purchase a wreath. Print your name, phone number, email address and the amount of your bid. This may be your one chance to purchase the wreath of your choice, so bid as much as you can afford. If you are the highest bidder, you will be contacted by a Festival representative within 24 hours. Wreaths may be donated beginning Friday November 24th, 2012 and continue until Sunday December 2nd, 2012.
Festival of Wreaths Gala
The 2nd Festival Of Wreaths Gala will take place on Sunday December 2nd, 2012 at Las Vegas Eagle.
The event will begin at 6:00 P.M. with a Social Hour featuring an open bar* until 7:00 P.M.; Silent Auction from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and $10 Liquor/Beer Bust* from 9:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. with ALL proceeds to benefit the Saint Therese Center.
*Open Bar and Liquor/Beer Bust includes well and domestic drafts. Donations to the Saint Therese Center are appreciated.
Entertainment
An evening of entertainment is planned with a special Holiday Edition of Draglicious with Special Guests Miss Kitty Litter (emcee), Richard and Ray Villa, Shiela Delmonte and Rockell Blu with dancers from 32 Degrees Production.
Prizes
Special Prizes will be awarded to those who created special or unique wreaths. All category winners will be determined by a group of Festival Committee Members.
Categories Include:
- Crowd Favorite
- Most Wintery
- Most Traditional
- Most Innovative/Creative
- Child’s Fancy
Starting bids of $25.00 for small wreaths and $50.00 for large wreaths have been attached to each of the items. To bid, please print your name, phone number, email address and your bid amount. Please enter your full legal name.
- Each bid must exceed the previous bid by $3.00 for small wreaths and $5.00 for large wreaths.
- All bids represent an obligation, if at the end of the auction you are high bidder; you are committed to purchasing said item.
- If you are not present you will be contacted by phone or email by the Festival Committee within 24 hours.
- Please do not bid if you cannot meet the obligation.
- All sales of wreaths are final. No exchanges or refunds are permitted.
- Everything is sold “as is” and has no cash value.
- In the event of any dispute, a Festival Committee will render the final decision.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THE SAINT THERESE CENTER
Saint Therese Center is a 501(c)(3) organization and as such provides a deduction for federal income tax purposes for individuals and businesses. The tax-exemption number will be provided upon request.
