2012 Christmas Dinner and Toy Distribution

Every year, the Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach provides free Christmas dinners and toys for children to all families affected and infect by the HIV virus. The only requirement to receive these gifts is that you are a registered client (go here for additional information on how to register). 2012 Christmas Distribution Results

In 2012, the Saint Therese Center provided Christmas dinners to more than 400 families that included a minimum of 33 items valued at approximately $84.00 retail* (depending on size of turkey or ham). In addition to these items, additional produce, bread, meat, baked goods, flower, ice cream, and other miscellaneous items were offered as needed.  The total retail value of all food items distributed for Christmas exceeded $73,500.00 this year and more than $10,000.00 in toys were given away.

*While the majority of food was donated by individuals and businesses, the Saint Therese Center purchased some food to ensure that all clients in need were able to receive a complete dinner. The Saint Therese Center is involved with a large network of grocery vendors and was able to purchase these items at a heavily discounted price.
